THE CASHEWNUT BOARD OF TANZANIA INVITES APPLICATIONS FROM
QUALIFIED TANZANIAS FOR THE FOLLOWING POST EXISTING AT ITS
MTWARA BASED HEAD OFFICE.

a) REPORT TO: DIRECTOR INFORMATION AND MARKERTING SERVICES
b) Entry Minimum Qualification
Holders of Postgraduate Degree in Business Administration, (Marketing) or
its equivalent from recognized institutions, with at least three years
experience in a senior position in a reputable organization.

d) Job Purpose
Marketing and Promotion Manager shall be responsible for efficient
and effective of both Marketing and promotion of Cashewnut
Industry in Tanzania.
e) Duties and Responsibilities
i. Carrying out market research
ii. Monitoring prices and recommending changes
iii. Administering export enquiries and orders
iv. Ensuring Board participation in Trade fairs
v. To deal with planning on daily, weekly and monthly statistical and
non statistical basis.
vi. To ensure that timely and effective execution of development
and recurrent plans are implemented.
vii. To ensure that development rehabilitation budgets are effectively
executed and reported.
viii. Orderly and efficient administration of the cashew products, and
marketing research activities.
ix. Forecasting supply, demand and price patterns for raw
Cashewnuts and cashew kernels, CNSL and cashew waste.
x. Determining maximum and minimum stock holding of raw cashew
and final products at factory levels and central warehouses.
xi. Performs any other duty related to her/his field as directed by
Director of Information and Marketing Services.
