Position Description:

USAWA is a network of rural based SACCOS operating in Kilimanjaro and Arusha Regions bringing technical and financial assistance to SACCOS in order to increase their performances and outreach.

• To assist the SACCOS through permanent monitoring and follow up

• To capacitate members, leaders and staff of SACCOS

• To ensure that the delivery of services to members is done according to SACCOS and USAWA regulations and procedures

Qualifications

• Tanzania citizen with good communication skills in both English and Kiswahili

• Ability to move to remote rural areas and willingness to carry extensive field work

• Driving motorcycle would be an advantage

• A diploma/degree in economics

• Good knowledge of microfinance environment
