Position Description:

Our client a leading global mining giant seeks a Financial Manager to join their team on an Expat role based in Tanzania. The successful candidate will be accountable for the outputs of the 3 key financial functions, namely Financial Accountant, Management Accountant and Governance and Compliance Officer (Tax included), including the Commercial Manager and Business Systems Manager functions.

Job Specification

You will need to have the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor degree with a focus in finance

• Postgraduate professional finance qualification advantage

• 10 years accounting experience

• 5 years as a financial manager

• IFRS, US GAAP and SOX knowledge

• Track record in the management of financial accounting, management accounting and governance & compliance

• Exposure to mining environment an advantage

• Must be mobile and ready to take up an expatriate role in Africa
