Economic and Development Manager

Position Description:
Candidates will have 7 or more years experience in economic development, agriculture or agri-business, business development services, experience with small holder farmers, facilitation or value chain strengthening.

Strong candidates will have USAID experience and have worked with international organizations.

The ideal candidate will have experience working across sectors including health and with multiple populations including Government of Tanzania Ministry and District Officials, commercial business, NGOs and CBOs, and should be conversant in issues affecting people living with AIDS.

This individual should be fluent in written and verbal English and Kiswahili.

Advanced degree in Community Development, Agriculture, Economics, or other relevant field is required. Masters degree preferred.

Experience working with health organizations a plus but not required.
